color theory Boston, owners Kendra and Brad Dufton

Independently owned and operated since January 2009, Kendra and Brad Dufton have successfully established an interior design company that wholeheartedly embraces their shared passion for global aesthetics. They achieve this by utilizing a unique and bold approach to the use of color, pattern, texture, and rare plants in every aspect of their work. With over 20 years of extensive experience in the fields of furniture design, home contracting, high-end retail merchandising, landscape design, and careers with other interior design firms, Kendra and Brad possess an impressive variety of skills and knowledge. This diverse background allows them to employ a unique approach to effectively solving their clients' diverse needs. The color theory Boston team is composed of enthusiastic professionals dedicated to maximizing every square foot in their clients' homes, whether through the selection of visually stunning items or the careful creation of custom storage solutions. Growing up as children in the scenic Hudson Valley, New York, and the vibrant metro areas of Washington D.C., Kendra and Brad were consistently exposed to the “thrill of the hunt” while exploring flea markets, artist fairs, yard sales, and inspiring antique stores, where they learned to appreciate the true value of a good deal. Today, with color theory Boston, Kendra and Brad apply these time-honored principles to all of their design and renovation projects, firmly believing that creating a sophisticated and timeless atmosphere does not have to necessitate an exorbitant expenditure. The color theory Boston team is passionate about expertly mixing both high-end and lower-cost decor, skillfully incorporating found vintage treasures, and thoughtfully highlighting their clients' cherished heirlooms in every project they undertake.
