color theory Boston is a full-service interior design group that is proudly based in Boston’s historic South End neighborhood, where we have been dedicatedly servicing our clients since January 2009. Our diverse range of projects varies greatly in both scope and scale, encompassing everything from the careful design or thoughtful decoration of that one special room to the extensive renovation or even construction of an entirely new home. We are pleased to extend our comprehensive interior design services throughout the metro-Boston area and the greater New England region. It is important to note that we respectfully do not offer a one-time, hourly consultation service, as we believe in providing our clients with a more complete and thorough experience.

At this time, we are currently reserving comprehensive design and renovation projects for the upcoming Winter 2025 season.

Benjamin Moore Paint Color Consultation Service

We are pleased to offer an in-person interior and exterior paint color consultation service tailored for our clients who reside within a 25-mile radius of Boston (zip code 02118). Our team takes great pride in exclusively utilizing Benjamin Moore's extensive catalog of available colors to ensure a high-quality selection. In addition to paint consultations, we are more than happy to provide wallpaper suggestions from leading industry experts, should that be of interest to you. Our scheduled in-person appointments typically last about one hour, during which we will discuss your vision and preferences in detail. Following the consultation, you can expect to receive a high-resolution PDF presentation within three business days. This presentation will showcase images of your presentable home along with other inspirational rooms or exteriors painted in the proposed colors. Furthermore, we will mail you 8” x 9” sample sheets of the recommended Benjamin Moore paint colors, allowing you to see how they look in your space. Please note that our Color Consultation service is limited and is available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., as well as on Saturday and Sunday, with an arrival time window of 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. For our valued clients located out of state, we also provide a remote consultation service designed to meet your needs effectively.

Biodiversity, Native Plant Container / Patio Garden & Houseplant Design Services

We’re truly enthusiastic about extending our deep love and passion for both color and texture by providing a comprehensive interior and exterior plant container design service that caters to various tastes and preferences. Our dedication to quality means we always source our native plants and flowers from reputable local greenhouses and vendors who consistently deliver the healthiest and most vibrant options available in our area. It’s incredibly important to color theory Boston that our thoughtfully crafted exterior designs not only enhance aesthetic appeal but also attract and welcome vital pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, and birds, which play a crucial role in maintaining the health of our ecosystem. We proudly offer our exterior design service from the month of May through December, while our interior houseplant design service is available year-round to accommodate your needs throughout every season.
